Devlog #3 (June 5 - June 12)


Kushagra: This week, I implemented the wrench transformation and bouncing mechanics. Also helped Cathy in extending the wrench throwing and returning functionality and with fixing bugs related to these mechanics.

Ethan Maxwell: I've continued ideating for the character of "Roger the Robot" and started the initial stages of 3D modeling the character. I will continue to develop the form of the character and experiment with different texturing techniques. 

Cathy: I fixed major bugs related to the wrench throwing and returning mechanic, and I also implemented the bouncing-on-wrench mechanic with Kushagra.

Miles: I added a win condition to the game, along with a death unique to each player. The robot will die exclusively to water and the engineer will die to electricity. I also upgraded the player camera to have an over-the-shoulder effect and a zoomed in aim when throwing the wrench

Jay: This week I created a hyper-customizable physics system for the player model. This allows for more forgiving and smooth platforming, and includes increasing the jump height of the player the longer the jump button is held down (to a fixed limit), allowing the player to travel horizontally further mid-air if they continue holding down a direction while in the air, and adding acceleration and deceleration to a player's movement.
